Today, Fri, Jul 17, 2015, around 7pm, I’m going to make my 3rd attempt at the Alpine Lakes Grand Tour. This route was part of the 2014 UltraPedestrian Wilderness Challenge (UPWC), so yes, I’m pretty much a year behind. For those who are interested, the 2015 challenges are well under way. The Alpine Lakes Grand Tour starts at Snoqualmie Pass (Snow Lake trail head) end ends near Leavenworth (Snow Lakes trail head on Icicle Creek road). The total distance is about 75mi (120km) with 25,000ft (7,620m) of elevation gain.

To the best of my knowledge, no one has so far completed this amazing route.
