Update: On Sun, Sep 6, 2020, I finally finished up my entire Eagle’s 33 Challenge route in 104h 42min (4d 8h 42min) and was able to bag all 33 peaks this time. Now I need some rest. Stay tuned for a detailed report and movie in the near or far future.
For a totally inexplicable reason, I’m now going back for a 4th attempt with a new strategy and a new route. Also, with more food.
The Eagle’s 33 Challenge consists of summiting all 33 peaks over 9,000ft (2743m) with at least 300ft (91m) of prominence in Oregon’s Eagle Cap Wilderness (aka Wallowa Mountains) in a single push.

The planned start is on Wed, Sep 2, 2020. Once again, I will start from the East Eagle Trailhead. The red markers on the map indicate the 33 peaks that I will attempt to bag. My planned route is not shown.
