{"id":312,"date":"2014-10-07T08:41:35","date_gmt":"2014-10-07T15:41:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.christofteuscher.com\/aagaa\/?p=312"},"modified":"2014-10-07T08:41:35","modified_gmt":"2014-10-07T15:41:35","slug":"steens-mountain-wilderness-fall-color-road-trip-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christofteuscher.com\/aagaa\/steens-mountain-wilderness-fall-color-road-trip-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Steens Mountain Wilderness Fall Color Road Trip 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Sat, Oct 3, 2014, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kam.pierce.1\" target=\"_blank\">Kam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ursina.teuscher\" target=\"_blank\">Ursina<\/a>, and I hit the road to check out the fall colors in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blm.gov\/or\/districts\/burns\/recreation\/steens-mtn.php\" target=\"_blank\">Steens Mountain Wilderness<\/a>. The Steens are known for some of the best fall colors in Oregon. We were not disappointed!<\/p>\n<p>After driving for 7h through amazingly wide-open landscapes, we arrived in the Steens after dark. For the first night we set up camp at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blm.gov\/or\/resources\/recreation\/site_info.php?siteid=17\" target=\"_blank\">Jackman Park<\/a>.
