On Mon, Apr 26, 2021, I will make a 2nd<\/sup> solo and self-supported record attempt to complete a Kokopelli’s Trail<\/a> out & back (a.k.a. yo-yo or double) traverse. My first attempt did not go well. See the announcement<\/a>, report<\/a>, and the movie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The planned start is on Mon, Apr 26, 2021, around 4am. You can track me in the embedded map below or go here<\/a>. This time I will start\u2014as initially planned\u2014at the Slickrock parking\/trailhead<\/a> in the Sand Flats Recreation Area<\/a> just outside of Moab. That seems to be the accepted start\/finish for all record attempts<\/a> so far. The turnaround point will be at Kokopelli’s trailhead<\/a> just outside of Loma, CO.<\/p>\n
